In response to public health concern regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Greater Northwest Indiana Association of REALTORS® is taking the precautionary step to postpone all planned events and utilize Zoom conferencing for all scheduled Board and committee meetings.
GNIAR is currently conducting in-person meetings by appointment only. (Staff & Support Directory) GNIAR is continuing to review this policy weekly as new information becomes available.
This decision is based on the recommendations from the CDC, announcements from health officials regarding Indiana cases, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of our REALTOR® community.
Currently Registered for a Class?
If you are currently registered for a class during this period, you will receive a credit in your account for a future GNIAR education training.
All in person classes have to been moved to an online Zoom format. Registration information can be found through the GNIAR Calendar page.
We all hope that this risk will pass in the near future. This decision is intended to ensure we do not inadvertently expose our employees, volunteers and members nor contribute to the spread of the virus. We know that restricting in-person meeting attendance is not going to insulate us from COVID-19 but by having this policy in place we are doing our best to avoid contributing to its spread and mitigating the risk to our members and staff.
