Westlake Corridor Public Meeting - South Shore Expansion

Tue. 10 Nov, 2015 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We are encouraging our Lake County members to attend!

NICTD PUBLIC WORKSHOP

The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) will host three public workshops for the West Lake Corridor Project. This project is evaluating an extension of the South Shore Line between the Munster/Dyer area and Metra’s Millennium Station in Downtown Chicago. This expansion will more conveniently connect Northwest Indiana to the Chicago area. The purpose of these workshops is to provide an opportunity to update attendees on project status, proposed stations and facilities, and next steps in the evaluation process. These workshops will provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions and provide input to the planning process.
